Session Formats

Poster

Faculty whose work is aligned with the Strategic Internationalization Plan (SIP) are invited to submit a poster, which is ideal to display, communicate, and celebrate your work to a broad audience with images, charts, diagrams, and words.

Roundtable

Faculty who are interested in contributing to the Strategic Internationalization Plan (SIP) are invited to submit their ideas and projects to the Round Table session. This session is an opportunity for you to share your ideas with a table of colleagues and use their feedback to develop your project in an informal and comfortable setting.

Proposal Submission

1. Alignment to SIP Goals: All proposals should be aligned with one of the SIP goals and one or more objectives under that goal.

2. Length: Proposals should be no more than 300 words and anonymized for review.

3. Impact Statement: All submission should include an impact (for posters) or potential impact (for Round Tables) statement (no more than 100 words) to demonstrate the significance or contribution of their work to SIP.

4. First Author: One author can only submit one proposal as the first author.

5. Digital Posters: Poster presenters are encouraged (but not required) to submit the digital version of their posters to this site as an open educational practice to build resources on the work of internationalization. If you choose to submit your work to this site, it will be accessible to the public so only include information you are comfortable sharing. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us (information below).

6. Generative AI Disclosure: Authors will be asked to declare the extent to which tools such as generative artificial intelligence/large language models were used in creating their proposals. We expect all authors to disclose honestly and transparently any use of such tools in the course of preparing and creating proposals and presentations.

Proposal Evaluation

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Relevance to SIP
  2. Organization and clarity
  3. Contribution or potential contribution to SIP

Deadline for submission: September 8, 2025 at 23:59 PST.
